I have a comprehensive background and over 20 years experience in the property industry and have offered my full support to hundreds of customers in this time, whether this is through selling, letting or even just my good honest advice. Being from the local area has really helped with my understanding of the local property market and what is on offer for anyone looking to move or relocate here.

I live in Ackworth myself but my roots are in South Kirkby and South Elmsall, being born and bred there as well as attending school and college in Featherstone. I got my first passion for customer service working alongside my relatives as part of a family business in hospitality, following this I began working at a small independent estate agents in South Elmsall.

John Lane Viewing Assistant

John joined Ruth Pitts Estate Agents in 2021 after relocating from Hertfordshire to Ackworth, bringing with him a wealth of experience perfectly suited to our clients’ needs. With 19 years in logistics as a Lead Operator, his expertise in organization and attention to detail has translated seamlessly into his role as an estate agent.

His 4 years in building and plumbing provide him with a keen eye for assessing a property’s potential for renovation or extension, offering invaluable insights to buyers and sellers. John’s diverse background, including roles as a brewer and animal technician, gives him a well-rounded perspective that our clients truly appreciate.

Since joining, John has already successfully sold several properties and is a key member of our team. His dedication and client-focused approach make him a great asset to anyone navigating the property market.

Rachel Zivarts Sales Progressor

We’re excited to introduce Rachel Zivarts as our Sales Progressor at Ruth Pitts Estate Agents! With 14 years of experience in the estate agency field, Rachel brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team, having worked in administration, sales progression, and compliance.

Known for her exceptional organisational skills, Rachel has developed training guides used across Yorkshire, reflecting her commitment to excellence. She has also successfully assisted investors and landlords in expanding their portfolios, showcasing her ability to deliver results and provide valuable insights.

Thomas Gorvin Estate Agent

Tom is a dedicated estate agent with over 10 years of experience in the property industry. Originally from Wetherby and now based in Horbury, he works across the Wakefield and surrounding area, helping people buy and sell homes with confidence. Tom prides himself on building long-lasting relationships and making the whole process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
